Titan allows you to add external links which are displayed on the Home dashboard. These links direct the user from one page to a another and redirect out of your website which are also referred as external websites. It is helpful for seeking more information or can be used as a reference. These links can be added from the admin section which are displayed on the dashboard if the ‘External Links’ widget has been enabled for the portal.
To create an external link, navigate to the Admin module - > External Link and click on the Create External Links button as highlighted below.
The following screen shall appear, provide all the required inputs as listed below.
- Select the External link option from the dropdown.
- Type the link (URL) OR paste the link if it has been copied.
- Enter the display text in the text box. Remember that the text entered here will be reflected on the External Link widget in the home dashboard.
- Finally, click on the Create button once you’re done.
2. The user can access the external links through the external links widget in the home module.
To add external widget, click on the gear icon in the home page and click on add widgets. Then select the ‘external links’ widget.
